...just a California Towhee. However, I think this is technically the best photo I've taken since I started trying to sharpen up my skills and bought the new camera.
Very little noise, no blur, and that oh-so-cooperative branch that just helpfully draped itself in a perfect frame around the bird.
Any feedback is welcome (too dark, too light, should I crop out more of the branches, etc.)

ReplyDeleteI don't think you should crop out the branches. Too many of us (me included) spend too much time trying to take pictures that look like the ones in the guide books - I think we should lace the bird in its surrounding more often.

ReplyDeleteI think that is a good picture with the bird in its natural surroundings and all in focus, especially the eye. Maybe a touch of brightness via Photoshop or similar but that's all,
