Teeth Bite

I'm sitting here at the kid's dentist's office trying not to go out of my mind while the kid is in back getting a bad baby tooth pulled. Poor guy.

But at least he gets gas for it. Where are the drugs for the quietly going insane parents? If anyone needs laughing gas, it's me!

Add this anxiety to that produced by the ex pressuring me for more visitation all week and I'm totally ready for the rubber room!

I hope everyone else had a better week.

Hang in there KJ! It will get better. Make sure the kid shares the post-dental visit ice cream with you!!

Ooh. Ouch. Hope it goes okay. Baby that kid this weekend and you will both feel better. Enjoy the day, Kelly. Erin

I wonder if he'll be all funny and giggly when he comes out!? I was a crack up the day I got my wisdom teeth pulled, telling all the dental assistants that i Looooooved them. My mom was thrilled!
I'll drink a Sangria tonight, and toast you - and hope that the weekend will bring betterness. :)

I always enjoyed the gas. And needed it desperately. I loathe going to the dentist. So I only do it every one and a half decades. Fortunately I have good teeth. (Thanks Mom!) Baby teeth are kind of wimpy, aren't they? Hopefully that will get better when he gets the grown-up ones! There should be a wine bar in the waiting room. He'll feel better when it's out!

I can totally understand you - I really panicked when the baby had taken blood the first time....

My children always did much better than me in the dentist chair. I am a basket case in or out of the chair. Just the smell of a dentist's office sends me over the edge.

I'm checking. I left a comment but lost power about the time I hit publish. :D I think this is a perfect example of why parents who want children should have to try out for it first...to see how we cope with being parents! LOL You will survive this. Most of us do.

Oh poor kidlet. Mine just got (sigh) four baby teeth filled. All the cavities were between his teeth. All of MY cavities are between my teeth and I brush and floss religiously, so it appears he's inherited my soft teeth. Great.
