So, here's what I'm picturing. Black leather jacket, black tank top, skinny jeans, spike-heeled leather boots, this necklace and a midnight motorcycle ride through Paris.
And as long as I was going for kitchsy, why not make the centerpiece one of my bottlecap pendants? At first I thought it was kind of a silly idea, but then, the whole necklace is silly so it fits right in. PLUS...I just last night watched part of a show on TV where Lady Gaga was doing a photo shoot - she's the new spokesmodel for Hello Kitty (hey, I TOLD you HK was still cool!) - guess what they did for her shoes? They glued a whole bunch of HELLO KITTY BOTTLECAPS to a pair of high-heeled designer pumps so that the shoes were completely covered.
I am soooooo trendy!
A closeup of one side.
And the other side. Some of the chains, crystals, charms and other doo-dads on here are recycled from my own collection of 80's jewelry.
So, there you have it: "Parisian Biker Chic."

This probably isn't surprising, but I would totally wear that everywhere. Funky, Fun, Pink, Unique. Lerve it!
Love it!
It's totally Madonna-circa-1985 plus "Wild At Heart" divided by steampunk. Love it. :-)
That is so Madonna circa 1984! Love it! You can make more of these and I bet they would sell out. Very fun. Very night out on the town with the girls. And I would so be rocking the black leather jacket and spikey heels!
Enjoy the day!

I guarantee you that my 14 year old niece would totally love it!! And I kinda do too!!
love the bottle cap! it's perfect! and yes, i was thinking madonna too--"borderline"! throw in some black rubber bangles, bad makeup and a perm and you're there. sometimes trash is good.
In this strange, unanticipated way, I love this. I can so see it with black leather and spike heals just as you describe. I think you needed to go with your inner kitsch.
