Photospiration

Lookeee, Mom, I can make up my own words LOL!

So, way back in May, I thought I might use some of my photos as project inspirations. I never got around to using any of THOSE photos (yet), but my starfish photos from last weekend have spawned some creativity.

Here are the starfish (in case you forgot):

And more starfish...

And here's what they spawned:

I can't stop using those great ebony wood slices from Rings 'N Things.

(Also, I got my latest freebie package from R&T and can't wait to get playing with it. Hopefully, I'll have some time to do so and take pics this weekend.)

Okay, back to the bracelet...

And hey, if Mother Nature can stick orange and purple starfish together on a rock, then why can't I mix orange (okay pinky-orange) chalcedony briolettes and faceted purple glass together in a bracelet?

And, of course, the stick pearls to give it that "beachy" feeling...

And, lastly, the silver starfish charm to finish it off.

Oh, and because it's Friday, of course there have to be new beads:

How CUTE are these?

If they were candy, I would eat them they look so yummy!

Uh oh...did I say that out loud? Good thing the weekend is almost here as I am obviously losing it LOL!

Happy Friday, everyone!

P.S. Now .... turn on your television to Lifetime, Sunday night, July 12. "Drop Dead Diva" is the television series my sister-in-law (okay, ex-SIL - we were married to the world's jerkiest pair of brothers and then both of us wised up and had the good sense to kick them to the curb - but we are still good friends) is presently working on in Peachtree City, Georgia. The pilot airs July 12 (that's THIS SUNDAY NIGHT) and the next 12 episodes (the ones she's worked on) will start the next week. They're getting terrific press and have great expectations. Check it out at: www.mylifetime.com.

I'm not very enamored with most wood beads I've seen. They always seem so "bleach bottle artsy". But I'm really impressed with these. You can almost feel the silky smoothness of the beads!!

The colors are really great!! The bracelet has a sophisticated coastal feeling with out the usual beachy pastel colors!!
