Rings 'N Things Product Playtime

The nice folk at Rings 'N Things are looking ahead to February and getting their Valentine's Day vibe on already. They sent me some great stuff to play with in advance of Feb. 14th:

Various shapes and sizes of crystals in black and red. Some nice sparkle and bling for a dramatic design.

A great pair of gunmetal heart-shaped links - use the pair of 'em for earrings or use them separately to create a pendant or a link in a necklace or bracelet.

I particularly like this pair of gunmetal links. The scrollwork and floral feeling would be great for a Victorian-inspired design.

From gunmetal to gold - these are new pieces from Tierracast. A square frame link that would be perfect for all those resin projects that are out there now and a cute little bird dangle. I love that bird - can't wait to find a home for him on a bracelet!

Another nice thing about the frame link - it has a textured design on the back. So, even if it flips around when someone's wearing it, there's still a design element present.

And, of course, it can't be Valentine's Day without some candy hearts, right? If only these were the edible kind, but glass beads are almost as good as candy and I think these would make the cutest dangles hanging from a "charm" style bracelet with some pearls and crystals thrown in. Besides, which one of us couldn't use some "hot love" for Valentine's Day? After being divorced for almost four year - I know I sure could ;-)

I hope everyone had a nice weekend. Mine was pretty boring - I did tons of updates on the website, took pictures, updated Etsy and packaged up some things to mail out to customers. I did get to watch some of the Wild Card games, though, which was fun. The Green Bay - Arizona game was a nailbiter right down to the very surprising and sudden end. Sadly, I picked the Packers to win that game, but all my other picks were right and I guess 3 out of 4 isn't too bad!

Happy Monday, all!

Ah, the new Sparkly Beads...more facets per dollar! And I liked the lampwork hearts, since we're known for sending candy all the time... Enjoy!

And pick the Packers you should! See, I knew you were a Cheesehead at heart! Another reason to like you :-P
I have yet to play with my finds. I better unearth them from my heap o' supplies before January is over! Thanks for the reminder!
Enjoy the day!

I especially like that second pair of gun metal links. How 'bout them Packers. I believe that Saturday night was the first time I've ever heard my sweetie say that football is a stupid game.
